At our Dojo (Angela Jankouski of Turning Point Presentations puts on these intense 3-person plus Angela dojos on improving presentations), we discussed the use of inspiration. Right in step with the calendar, Angela played a video of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Though it was never said, I had a feeling that Angela in her non-pushy way was suggesting that our presentations might do with a bit of higher purpose in it. We each talked about inspiration in our respective presentations. I have often thought of the higher purpose of branding and for me it is the…families.
Frankly, when I go into a Branding Map process, I want my customer’s brand to be fantastic so that the company gets on track, sales increase, the company grows, more people are hired and more families are fed. This seemed dimly unsatisfying to my compatriots in the group. See next blog for what the group thought and the answer we arrived at. Do you add a bit of inspiration to your presentations? If so, how do you do it?
Brand well and prosper!
