You’ve thought of a great offer, we helped you create a wonderful design, and now your landing page is ready to go. But how do you know that people are viewing it? It’s one thing to launch a landing page, it’s another to actually drive traffic to it. Unfortunately, you can’t just make a landing page and throw it onto the Internet and hope for the best. You need to actively drive traffic to it. But how do you do that? I’ve got four ideas.
1. Social Media
Facebook, Google+, Twitter… these are all great places to start promoting your landing page for free. Share your offer with your followers and if they’re interested you might see them share it with their friends.
Pro tip: If you’re looking to gain new leads fast you may want to pay for advertising through social media.
2. Blog
Create a post on your blog about your new landing page and the offer that comes along with it. Make sure the link to the landing page is offered a few times throughout the blog and end with the same call-to-action that is on the landing page. Those who are subscribed to your blog will get an email about your new post. Which leads me to my next point…
3. Email Database
This is probably the easiest way to promote your landing page. You have an entire database full of contacts so why not share your offer with them?
4. Google AdWords
If you’re looking for fast, immediate results, you’re going to have to spend some money. Google AdWords is a great way to gain new leads by paying for a spot on Google search. AdWords allows you to set your own budget, choose your target keywords and manage your campaign.
These are my four favorite ways to promote landing pages, but there are other ways. If you’ve found a great way to guide traffic to your landing page, share with us on our Facebook page.
